Learn how to make your own Hand-Woven Heritage Broom, the way brooms were made over 200 years ago!
Whether a floor broom, hearth broom, or flying broom, these one-of-a-kind sweeping beauties are as beautiful as they are practical, for use on floors, sidewalks, decks, patios, or simply for display as unique pieces of centuries-old folk art.
Join foothills broom-maker, David Campbell for six hours of fun, hands-on instruction after which you’ll have made a hand-woven broom that is as much a unique conversation piece as it is a fully functional sweeper — one that you made yourself!
David is one of six heritage broom makers in Canada, and the only one to teach broom-making workshops. We feel lucky to have him!
We expect these workshops to be popular so please register early. 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. Bring your own refreshments and lunch. $180.00 per person. All materials and tools provided.
Some hand strength is required. Children aged 12 and up are welcome when accompanied by an adult.

Is there parking?
Yes! Our Plant Plant location has plenty of free parking right outside the front door.
Where is the workshop space located?
Our workshop space is located in our sister shop Plant Plant, located at 5-2501 Alyth Road SE. Please see the map here. It is just minutes away from our flagship store in the heart of Inglewood.
Are the tickets refundable?
All workshop tickets are non-refundable. Should you need to cancel for any reason we can offer a refund up to one week before the event. As this is a guest workshop, we do not offer refunds less than one week before the workshop. If you have any questions, please call the shop at 403-585-4226.
What if I need to change my date?
As this is a guest workshop, no date changes can be made.
